Post Number 10, In Which I Finally Open my Etsy Shop

Look at this…….Shop ImageI have a bona fide, fully functioning Etsy shop. It has taken me a little while to build up a bit of stock. It now has seven items in it. I read a that a good way to get your shop viewed a lot (and therefore increase your chance of sales) is to get your item count up to one hundred. I think if I did ever manage this it would bankrupt me or kill me, not sure which  would happen first. Also in the back of my mind is the worry that it could still be a flop and so I’d have to find people to give my cowls to as presents. There is no way I know that many cold people.

One of my own designs is what I call a Broken Chevron.

It was really nice and simple to create a punch card for it but when I team it with a self striping sock yarn it gives a pretty cool effect, even if I do say so myself.

Later on this week I’m going to launch my third size of snood the Big Daddy Bear size, which is down around your knees when its unravelled and could quite easily drown a person in wool when it’s wrapped around your neck, what a way to go! I love this length and I will definitely be making myself one for next winter In the meantime here’s a sneak preview of the one which will be going up on my shop in the next few days.
